I thought I found the right file to restore my Thunderbird files to Anyway-the Carbonite tech had restored the files to a folder on my desktop. I copied the file and pasted it to this Thunderbird file.
As the files were being restored, the system notified me that several thousand files were the same I said to replace them. I deleted my e-mail profile and closed Thunderbird before I did any of this.
